Applications are available at www.denverfoundation.org. (Select the tab that says “Grants/Scholarships.” The selection committee is looking for exceptional students who are planning to pursue a degree in science, mathematics, or engineering. Coop Country Stores in Fruita, Nucla and Palisade are offering a number of scholarships from $500 to $5,000 to area high schools graduates.
